It’s been almost 3 years since we got our sweet puppy Doughnut from Mel @ Doucet’s Furry Friends. I was in love from the minute I saw his picture on her page & he has not disappointed us since! He’s been our loyal travelling buddy, emotional support pup, cuddler extraordinaire, & sidekick since the first day he arrived with us. Healthy & well adjusted, Doughnut didn’t stay an only pup for long. His mom, Rosie, also went up for adoption & we immediately said yes to her joining the family! They are almost identical in looks, but their personalities stand alone. Affectionate beyond measure, healthy & energetic, Rosie is well loved & cared for.
I would recommend, & have to many friends, a cocker spaniel from Mel to anyone who is interested. They are our sweetest treasures & we are incredibly thankful to have them in our home each and every day!

We adopted our Cocker spaniel Phoebe, who’s now 6yrs old, and Ttoodle Shelby, who’s 1yr from Doucet’s Furry Friends. From day 1 we knew Mel, the breeder was very professional and all her reviews were outstanding.
She gave us the healthiest, friendliest pups, who have the best temperament with others, and kids.
We couldn’t have asked for better pups. Mel is amazing, and her facility looks amazing. She goes above and beyond to keep these pups socialized and exercised. They are clean, groomed, and so so cute!

I can’t say enough about Jett. He is the most lovable smart dog we have ever had. Jett has been a great companion the last few years he helped me through my cancer journey I will never love any dog like I have with him. He knew when I needed his love and was there without me asking. His kisses and love are our world ❤️
We bought a beautiful healthy Cockapoo from Doucet's Furry Friend 5 years, we have been blessed with the most beautiful dog, with such a beautiful personnality. He's our 20 month old grand daughter's best friend.

We are very satisfied with our experience with Doucet's Furry Friends. After suffering the tragic loss of our previous fur baby we were interested in a smaller doodle breed and came across their page. Our baby boy Knox was meant to be as he was exactly what we were looking for. He helped us heal our hearts from our previous loss. The Ttoodle breed is exactly as Mel had advertised. Our baby boy has a beautiful coat that can be kept longer and does not mat easily. He is smart, loves our company and that of other dogs, goofy, minimal barking, sweet and calm temperament. He is healthy and thriving. Would absolutely get another fur baby later down the road from them again.
Where to begin. Our experience with Mel and Doucet Fury Friends was nothing short of amazing. Communication was excellent especially when transporting dogs from one province to another. Our dog Lola, is the most precious, sweetest little soul you could ask for. She is so lovable and always wants to be with us. She is so smart and quick to train. She loves a good walk and curling up by the fire. Highly recommend!!

My Dad lost my Mom and was very lonely so we decided to get him a dog. In August we were blessed with Arnie. He has made such a difference in my Dad’s life. He said he cannot imagine his life without him. He is the “Neighborhood Dog” everyone loves him and comes to visit him every day. Mel was awesome to deal with and answered my endless questions. After the passing of my dogs of 12 years I thought my dog owning years were over,that was until a friend told me about Doucet's Furry Friends. I saw a sweet little face and I was hooked but I didn't stop at one! The following year I adopted two more, brother and sister to my new fur boy and then not yet a year old I accepted their mother! They are loving, mischievous, loyal companions to all in my household and each other. I could not be happier! They fill my days with joy. We had discussed for some time getting a dog but we were undecided as to what kind to get. We wanted one that would fit our family. When one of my co-workers was getting one from Doucet’s, I quickly looked into it but we didn’t have our hopes up too high as I knew there was a waiting list at times. Plus I was partial to the blondes (what they are known as) and come to find out, one lady had backed out of her deal and we were up next!! He has been super easy to train, excellent around kids and loves people! They also love the snow and have such great personalities! Here are a few pics of when he was a puppy and him as an adult dog. One of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Mel was also super easy and friendly to deal with. We’ve never regretted getting him.

This is Lacey! She is two years old now and the sweetest most adorable addition to our family!! Super smart, well behaved and most loveable cockapoo!! Mel is not just a breeder, she loves all of her pups like family and continues to care even after they are placed in their forever homes!!
If or when I decide to expand my fur family, I would definitely be going back to Doucet's Furry Friends!!! Lacey was transported by airplane to NL and Mel took care of everything to get her here safely and stress free for us. Customer service at its best!!!
Our initial "Mel" dog, a loving cockapoo named Jett, was truly one of the finest dogs we've had. He possessed a caring nature and a gentle heart, though I often teased him for being a bit of a worrier. Unfortunately, Jett was taken from us too soon, and it left me heartbroken. I reached out to Mel, explaining the situation. Because of the high demand for her puppies, I was placed on a seven-month waiting list.
To my surprise, just one month later, Mel called to inform me about an unclaimed black male cockapoo with white markings (why black puppies are the last to be chosen remains a mystery). Without hesitation, I agreed to adopt him, and that's how Jack came into my life. Jack is a bundle of energy, filling every room with his presence. Despite being a bit bossy and thinking he's larger than his 25 lbs, he's also a cuddler and a tad mischievous. But oh, how I adore him!
My friend got her dog Bennie at the same time I got Jett, and Bennie is thriving at just over 7 years old. The positive experiences with Jett and Bennie turned them into great ambassadors for "Mel" dogs in our small town. Now several local residents have dogs from Mel.
Whenever I had questions, Mel responded promptly. I remember once sitting at the vet's office, and Mel quickly answered my inquiry about Jack's deworming. That's what I call exceptional service!
We had been searching for a while to find the perfect dog to add to our family since our old boy passed. We stumbled upon Doucet's Furry Friends on Facebook. I looked at pictures of their puppies and read every owner's comments. I was like "pfft..how can every comment be - my puppy is so sweet, smart, funny, well mannered and just downright adorable?" And then we got a Ttoodle from Doucet's. And now I see ALL the comments were true! Because our girl is all of those and so much more! She is so smart and such a quick learner. Her temperament is exceptional. She is THE perfect family dog! I am certain it has a lot to do with Mel making the right breeding choices for temperament.

Melanie is simply amazing! I was not sure at all what kind of dog I wanted and she took the time to make a call, answered hundreds of my questions and was super honest. We made a choice and even though it was not our first dog, buying a dog from Doucet's furry friends was one of the best decision of our life!
Our little Molly is the sweetest, she is really intelligent and you could see that she was well socialized also! We have the perfect combination of cuteness and equilibrated dog.

I couldn't imagine having a better experience from a breeder. Doucet's furry friends are involved with keeping every family updated from the time the puppies are born and far beyond after you take them home. You can really feel and see the care and love she has for all her dogs. I can't say how many times people, from groomers to her Vet, and everyone that meets Rosie, have commented on her beautiful looks, health, and amazing temperament especially. Do not hesitate to bring one of these amazing dogs into your life !
Nous avons vraiment aimé voir notre bébé grandir a travers les multiples photo prise....on vois que les chiens sont aimé et bien traiter. Notre petit biscuit a arrivé a la maison, affectueux, deja habitué d être manipuler, et aime etre entouré d humain. Il est tres calme et pas du tout nerveux!!! Ca parais qu il a ete traiter au p' tit oignon depuis sa naissance ...On est comblé et on l'adore tellement deja 💕💕

We have 2 amazing cockapoos from Mel (1.5 years apart). We fell in love with my sister in law’s cockapoos who both came from Mel and had to have our own. Our neighbor loved our pups so much that she added one to her family as well. Mel is extremely prompt to respond to any questions you might have and is also helpful to share advice when needed. I continue to recommend Doucet's Furry Friends anytime I hear someone wanting to add a furry member to their home. We are grateful to have found such wonderful additions to our family 🐶
Charlie will be a year old in January! He is a a very smart boy! Most spoiled rotten dog we have ever had but still a very good boy! He makes us smile everyday! Mel answered and still answers any questions that we have. If/when we get another it will definitely be from Doucet's Furry Friends! Get one, you won’t regret it! ♥️
